Kugoo vs KuKirin Electric Scooters: Which Should You Buy?

Kukirin G3 Pro Electric Scooter Dubai Dual Motor E-Scooter

Choose Kugoo if you want the widest choice, the cheapest way in and the longest-range models; choose KuKirin if you want a clear step-up path from a commuter to a dual-motor performance scooter. The two names are closely related, and many shops list KuKirin models as “Kugoo Kirin”. At The Shard Bike we stock more than 40 models across both ranges, from AED 690 to AED 7,000.

How the two ranges are organised

KuKirin keeps a tight line-up in three families:

  • S1 Pro: the entry-level folding commuter (AED 900)
  • M and C series: commuters with detachable seats and long-range batteries, such as the M4, M4 Pro and C1 Pro (AED 1,150–2,400)
  • G series: performance and off-road models, from the G1 Pro to the dual-motor G3 Pro, G4 and G4 Max (AED 2,499–7,000)

Kugoo covers more ground with more models:

  • Kirin S3 and Pro 3: the lowest-priced folding scooters (AED 690–750)
  • C1 series: seated commuters such as the C1 Plus (AED 1,300–1,500)
  • S5 Pro, F3 and M series: powerful mid-range scooters, several with seats (AED 1,850–2,999)
  • G, LX and M10 series: high-power and long-range models, up to the LX11 Plus with a claimed 160 km (AED 3,150–6,200)

Which should you buy?

  • Pick KuKirin if you ride daily and want a seated commuter with a generous rider limit, such as the M4 or M4 Pro, or if you plan to move up to the G series later.
  • Pick Kugoo if you want the cheapest scooter that does the job, a powerful mid-range model like the S5 Pro, or the longest possible range.
  • Either range works for Dubai commuting. Ride in the lowest speed mode on public tracks: the legal limit is 20 km/h, far below what most of these scooters can reach.
